brake question
You already bought them.... use them...
should work fine ... almost any brake pad other than the stock pads are going to be better with the exception of those "lifetime warantee" $25 pads you see at the local big chain autoparts stores.

Brake pads
My pads were squeeking about 5k miles ago and all of a sudden stopped. I had them checked at the dealer and said there was 3mm on the front and 9 mm on the back. Is this a lot of pad left?

stock brakes are kinda bad taht's for sure...
If you don't want to spend $1k-ish for the full Fastbrakes wilwood right now, hang on a while... Brian is coming up with a kit that uses stock calieprs + larger rotors. This should reduce the cost a good bit and with aftermarket pads, will provide a nice improvement over stock.

Should work fine, although I'd break in the pads on your old rotors first. (see www.se-r.net or SoCal-SERCA on groups.yahoo.com 's archive for why)

I remembered how when I first got my car... I thought the brakes were great. Then, about 3 months later, I had a hard time stopping at the line on intersections... It's not just me cuz my friend also bought one as a package deal... same thing on that car too...
