Does anyone know any trick on how to clean the muffler? Just the It is black as hell! I have tried different things to clean it but I have had no luck. I don't like how you can look at my cars *** and see the dirty muffler. Thanx

My Rex used to smoke alot, buning oil...
I used a heavy-duty scrub brush with wd-40 sprayed on it. It sounds weird, but it worked. I don't have any problems with my Max exhaust, but I do have one other suggestion: buy an aftermarket muffler. I've been thinking about an HKS upgrade, but no one has replied to my other post on the subject.

Get a stainless stillen rear muffler. Stays nice forever......

Are you referring to the can? or the tip? or the piping? If you want to clean the pipe, for get it, will just get dirty again. If you want to clean the can, I don't know that any one actually sees it. but I donno, try a little soap and water? If it's the tip, get some chrome polish.
