engine sound after adding techron

Hey folks. I added a bottle of techron a couple of weeks ago. It seems to have made my engine sound a little throatier (I'm bone stock) and also quickened the throttle response enough to make it noticeable.

My question is that since I've only had the car about a month do you think the techron really made a difference, or was it just a $13 placebo? If the latter turns out to be the case, then ignorance really IS bliss.

The recent wet weather has been clouding your judgment.

I just used Chevron Techron about 2 months ago for the first time and experienced none of what you are mentioning.

Have you ever cleaned your throttle body? I can see that improving throttle response.

PS What kind of Maxima do you have? You will have to come out to our next meet. Peruse the Canada forum from time to time. We got together twice this year, but not likely again until the spring.
