when i woke up today i went outside and opened my hood i was going to do some work and i saw this :

Kittens are sooooo cute. He's probably a stray looking for a home. He/she probably crawled up there to get warm. Glad you didn't just drive, you'd have killed the little bastard.

 

when i opened the hood i was like wtf and i tried picking it up and it was hissing at me. it was sitting right on top of the intake manifold. when i reached for it he ran down on top of the transmission. i used a stick to poke him out. then he landed on the ground and ran to the rear of my car and jumped up on my back tire. then i got it out of there and he went up in my moms highlander and when i opened her hood there was two of them in there. i was like omg wtf i sick of cats i got them out of there and called animal control to get them but yes that could have been bad if i started up my car

 

Thats pretty cute, I have found "DOG FOOD" in my airbox before. Turns out after the car would sit a while, mice(I live in the country) would get into the dog food, and then climb thru the duct work and nest in the box under the air filter. Talk about a surprise !!!! I think I would rather have a kitty.

same thing happened to me. the mice would hang out in the garage and then take dog food from my dog's bowl in the garage and hop up in the engine bay and make a nest outta anything and everything.

i had a thread goin about mice in the engine bay. unscented mothballs = FTW!

I checked the air filter in my mother-in-law's jeep and found the air box completely stuffed with pink insulation, never found the mouse.

My Yamaha FJ1200 seemed like it was loosing it's get up and go on the highway, like it was holding back in the higher RPM range.

Thats when I found the mouse!

wen i was like 12 or 13 a friend of mine cried over a goose or duck that crawled up into the the engine of his neighbors van. he couldnt get it out, he was sad. dont know wut happened to the duck tho.
