More Sputtering Problems... Please Step In...

***95 Auto GXE w/injen CAI*** Ok, so i read the other threads about sputtering and stalling, i've had problems in the past with stalling, had my KS and CTS replaced as well as my starter. I've noticed a new problem now. When i'm at a stop and go to accelerate, around 11-1300 RPMs, my car seems to get 'stuck' as if it might stall, but soon picks up. Seems like tranny's slippin, but i don't know about trannies; i'm still a . I don't have to give more gas to prevent stalling like i used to, and haven't experienced a stall yet. Like I said, i've already read probably every thread on this problem, but most people report problems at higher rpm's. On COLD days, my shifts from 1-2 are really rough too. Also, when i start my car, sometimes i get this really loud belt-squeeling noise coming from what i THINK is the right side of the engine bay. I've now done some research into getting my tranny swapped for a 5 speed, but won't have the money till this summer. I was also reading up on the drop resistor mod and was considering it because it's a cheap and easy mod and there are rumors about it saving the life of the tranny. Any input towards this problem and DR mod are appreciated.
PS I popped the hood to check my intake and oil and stuff and noticed there seemed to be part of a leaf stuck in my TB right after the cables where it connects. Maybe i should clean this out? how do i do this safely? THX EVERYONE!

Now I don't claim to be an automatic tranny expert, but from few threads I've actually paid attention to on the subject, I seriously doubt the Drop Resistor Mod extends the life of the tranny...
