Stalling, Gas Smell, searched on Yahoo!
Yup I did a max dot org search on yahoo and most of the stuff seems to say something in the lines of fuel line, etc. (Bear in mind that my tach for the rev does not work, has not been working since 155k miles or so).
My car now at around 210k miles, new spark plugs about 5k miles ago. I guess now that I get out the car you can notice the smell of gasoline, so I replaced my fuel filter.
What my car does is it stalls sometime when at a stoplight and I am about to make a turn, you can feel/hear it hesitate. I would rev my car at parked and it would shut off once the rpm came down (I figure this cus i let off the gas and I assume my rpm would be dropping back down). When coming to a stop and holding my break, i feel/hear the rpm surge, and the car lurching forward (This does not happen all the time). I can drive for like 10-15 mins with no problem, then it would come, you can hear it hesitate.
If any of you live in RI and know any good shops thanks! I don't feel like waiting for a max meet this sunday to diagnose it.
I checked ECU, it was fine 0505.

I had a problem that was very similar to this...I took it to the dealer and they could find out what was wrong. Turns out it was the Engine Coolant Temp sensor. Buy one for about $25, takes about 5 mins to replace...
