engine experts chime in, need help!

I have a electrical problem. Battery is brand new, alwaysis dead after i start the car letting it run for a while to charge. Engine runs like its got 60% power, and i did unplug coil pack by coilpack to see if the cylinders were all working and they are. Could this be alternator? Any ideas? Need help, if you have anything else you need to know let me know. I need my car fixed so any help or ideas would be great. thanks.

Are there any CEL codes?

If so, what?

So...battery is new, yet it's always dead after you start the car? Engine feels sluggish?

It might be the alt not charging, but not for the loss of power, and you would probably have a batt and/or brake light if the alt was dead.

Yeah, take it off and bring it to Autozone or something and they'll test it for free. That's definitely your problem though
