RPM Signal

Is the speedo sensor on the transmission where the ecu gets the rpm tach signal? casue ive been trying to receive a tach signal for a while and my car still gets no tach signal even from the ecu wire itself. IF anyone has any info let me know. Thank you.

I think the ECU uses the crankshaft or camshaft position sensor for RPM. You usually need to calibrate whatever device you are using to receive the RPM signal from the ECU.
