Nick,

If you hadn't put that smiley in there, it would have been deletion time!

And, no, you can't buy all pairs in existence because I'm going to first.....and have a BIG bonfire!

Wanna attend?

First, I think the Altezza's are a mark of improvement over the ugly a*s tailights that come stock on the maxima. Even with the red/clear conversion they still look old-fashioned, and just plain fugly.

As far as Bill (the moderator) is concerned...Threatening to delete Nick's post, whether he placed the smiley face there or not, is very infantile. It seems that you have taken it upon yourself to be Mr. Censorship among an adult community. Granted, there are people and certain posts that should not have been said, and should be removed for lack of better character, however, a post such as Nick's that was an obvious joke (smiley face or not) should not be subject to the same penalty. This board needs some humor every once and a while, and it seems as if every time someone tries to bring a little light into these dark, and over-serious forums, you or another moderator attempts to silence him. I have visited several other forums that utilize this same vbulletin software, and censorship is to a minimum. Gross racial slurs are the only type of comments that are deleted and banned from the general forum.

 Chill out, dude!

#1. who cares about altezza's

#2. Nick is first and foremost a business man.. he is serious about buying them all so he can make a profit..

#3. Just because bill is a moderator doesn't mean that he can't crack a sarcastic joke every now and then.. he wouldn't have deleted nick's post smiley or not.. ITS A JOKE..

#4. can we stop wadding our panties about stupid crap and jsut talk about cars?

Cool, that's your opinion.

It's a friendly thing between Nick and myself. I could care less if you don't understand. Furthermore, you don't understand sarcasm. May I suggest Webster's Dictionary online.

It seems that you have taken it upon yourself to be Mr. Censorship among an adult community.

Nope, I was asked to be a moderator and agreed. If I want to censor things, that's my prerogative, not yours. BTW, I can't moderate in this forum. Taking the time to read relevant information BEFORE posting is a good way to avoid being called ignorant.

Granted, there are people and certain posts that should not have been said, and should be removed for lack of better character, however, a post such as Nick's that was an obvious joke (smiley face or not) should not be subject to the same penalty.

I can't believe I'm having to respond to this. IT WAS A SARCASTIC JOKE. What the hell do you think it means when I refer to not allowing him to buy all the Altezza lights because I'm gonna beat him to it? Uggg.....

This board needs some humor every once and a while, and it seems as if every time someone tries to bring a little light into these dark, and over-serious forums, you or another moderator attempts to silence him.

Ask around. If I wanted to flame, I would do a much better job than my response to Nick. Trust me.

I have visited several other forums that utilize this same vbulletin software, and censorship is to a minimum.

That's nice. Why do I care about this? This is a privately owned site for public use. Privately-owned means the one who pays $$$ for this site (or those they delegate authority to) have the right to delete and edit whatever posts possible. You may want to re-read that "Agreement" you checked when you joined as a member. It is all clearly covered.

Try observing things for a while before sticking your nose where it doesn't concern you.

Here's a smiley for ya:

Obviously you didn't get the fact that Bill WAS joking! It's little comments like his that help keep the peace around here. You took it the wrong way dude! BTW I think there is plenty of humor that goes on here.
