I have been having trouble starting my car in the colder weather, i prefer to remote start it from inside my house so its nice and toasty by the time i leave. It has started fine all spring, summer and fall, but now when i start it, it revs up to about 1500 rpm and then drops to around 300 and just dies. I have to pump the gas a few times to get it going usually, but is there anything i can do to fix the problems? i was thinking coils, but i am not sure onthat. i only have the very low rpm problem just as im starting, basically runs fine for the most part. any suggestions?

 

Clean your throttle body.

 

i had that the other day. only happens to me when im low on gas. the needle was barely above the last notch. filled the tank up and it was fine.
