2 screws to adjust headlights?

I cannot remember which screw it is to adjust the headlights so that the shine more out to the sides. When I tried adjusting them I could hardly tell the difference in aim by turning the screws. Just looking for an answer as to if it is the inner screw (closest to the middle) or the outer screw (on the fender side). Thanks in advance.

They both work in conjuction in a way almost like a push/pull deal, but it is the inner screw that does most of it if you need to do minor adjustment..

well if you are just running a plug n play kit in the stock housing the light will scatter anyway, also the hid bulb may not be seated or manufactuered properly. If it is projectors the way they are mounted needs to be adjusted.

To align the headlights you need to turn the lights on facing a wall and adjust the aiming screws from there, you can either look at the beam pattern or look at the actual top of the headlight to see if the gap from the headlight housing is increasing or decreasing while you are adjusting the screw.
