Looking at those pics I noticed that your car is a little low on gas...

jk. I'd say its a wire problem?

We shouldn't joke about stuff like that, there may be guys over 50 on the forum!!

My g/f's a dr. and you'd be surprised how many men want that stuff, at $8-$11 a pill you gotta wonder if they really need it or they're black-marketing it. Lucky insurance kicks-in and only allows so many per month, like once a week or something! *LOL*

Dennis my car has 82k miles. 2 years ago my first tranny blew at 72k miles, this is when i first got the car and used to do burnouts and shiet, but then the this tranny i have now has only 60 k miles. The tranny is strong but i did a stupid mistake not rebuiding it before i put it in. I had my car for about 2 years and bought it with 71k miles now it has 82k

lol i put 10k miles on my car in 2 years....

Take out the gauge cluster and check to see if all your wires are secure. Could just be a loose wire.

i belive the sending unit it in the tank along with the pump and float.

my cousin did a roll back in his auto del slow and broke the tranny. it wouldnt free rev in park, it was like the tranny was in gear with the brakes pushed really hard. he also lost reverse. it sounds like your tranny is fubar'd

The sending unit is in the tank, its a lever with a small soap shapped sponge thing on the end that floats as more gas is in the tank raising the guage. Something could have happened and that and thus this.

Have you hit any pot wholes, and hard bumps?

To get to the sending unit, you'll have to pull the back seat off, take off that grey cover, pull off the two black tubes, and carefully lift the sender out. Haynes has a way of testing it to make sure it work. Its a deicate part so if you buy a new one make sure there not tossing it around , dropping it, thinking its like a PCV valve.

Don't you wish your tranny went in July, bad time of year for car repairs w/o a garage, good luck. Transmission should last way longer than they are for you, very costly to replace every 10K
