i think it's in the faqs, but 1st gear is around 40, 2nd is around 65-70, 3rd around 90, 4th around 120, and 5th tops out at 164.

don't quote me on it.

1st = 38.74 2nd = 68.79 3rd = 100.05 4th = 133.40

This all depends on tire size, and rev limit.

Not sure on 5th, as I wouldn't care to ever get there.

Now that you've posted that, I'm sure someone will go out and try it... and take a video clip of it too....

No. I'm saying the top speed in 5th gear is 160 mph. Yours will top at around 140 in stock form. I can get there because I have bigger nuts under the hood.

wouldnt they all change with a rev limit upgrade? what would the speed be if the rev limit was 8k?

Around 195 mph but your car would most likely fly at that speed.

If you could get the VQ30 making usable power at that RPM ...

00vi and 3.5...it's been done before.

Its not the most practical or prettiest, but i've yet to see something better.

00Vi doesn't match to the 3.5, so that's kinda moot. Krismax isn't trapping any higher than me and his car is lighter. I have the stock 2k2 IM vs his unaligned 00vi. The VI gives a real nice smooth curve on a 3.0 but will never match right or be 100% usable on a 3.5

But as JClaw stated, it's been outperformed or at least matched with 1500 less RPM's and a different manifold.

There are quite a few maximas on here that would make it to 164mph, and faster if their gearing/rev limiter allowed it. I have one that will get to 164mph in about 30 seconds from a dead stop, without the nitrous.

Why doesn't Krismax swap out to Pathfinder Heads ... I read somewhere in all-motor that if you use 3.5 with pathfinder heads then it would port-match the 00VI.

Of course there is always that thing they call money, but hell he has invested this much already.

Yes but i never leave it on. The leds are too bright and blind me when i hit rev limit.
If i had to guess i would say it tops out about 152-155mph

That looks familiar... except mine has "220 km/h" instead of 140.

Actual rev limiter is more like 6800 on your tach. The tach is off.

On the tach. Real rev limiter is 6550, but in order to actually shift at 6500 rpms you need to take the needle to 6700-6800 because the tach is not precise. I always shifted at 6.7-6.8k at the track, and was probably actually going 6500 or so.

Its not..your correct but i didn't feel like slammin into the fuel cut going that fast so i let go there. Plus its kinda hrad to take pic and hold the steering wheel as you can imagine.

My 96 rev limiter seemed spot on, 7200rpm on the dyno, and it bounced off exactly 7200rpm on the tach too. My beater seems accurate too though I don't have occasion to run it to redline very much (USIM). Same with the turbo car, things happen to quickly in the lower gears for me to try to be so precise as to shift at rev limiter to find where it actually is, and in the higher gears I don't like to run it out to redline anyways I usually shift at like 6000rpm. Plus hitting a fuel cut rev limiter with two sub injectors is asking for a blown motor.

6spd would be nice but it's rare that I take it up that fast anyways. I've done it probably 3 times since I've owned it, gone to the very end of the tach in 5th gear that is. Usually I don't go any higher than about 140mph - occasionally 150 which hardly takes any time at all.
