Electrical System

Recently ive noticed that when i open one of my doors that the lights dont always come on instantly sometime ill open the door sit down and then the lights will click on. Anyone know what could be causing this.

I noticed this too a while back. There's a small (for lack of a better word) switch near the bottom of the door opening. It's covered in rubber and is near the cetter pillar. Mine was a bit loose, so after tightening it up, fixed the problem. Initially, I removed it to check if it worked, but didn't do a thing until I screwed it in tight. I guess there's a ground or something that needs to be established before it will work properly, though I could be wrong.

The door switch completes the circuit by grounding it. Clean the switch and make sure it has a good connection to ground.
