I read someone on here say they put a Greddy SP2 on a 99 max. I see they only sell them for the 95-96. I was wondering how was this possible.

 

do you mean? Anything's possible ..

Reason being is because the 95/6 is shorter than the 97+ due to a slight variance in rear bumper dimensions.

 

Someone said they had it done I am wondering how. I pm'd him but received no response. I am in the market for a muffler since I have a can of rust at the present moment. I want to go aftermarket but don't want anything loud. I have a 99 and it seems it is hard to get things for the 99 at a decent price. TIA for any help or insight you can give.

 

If you don't want anything loud, you might not want the SP2. I'm sure there are louder mufflers out there, but you might want to listen to some sound clips and look at some others - http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=430498 (top sticky in this forum.)
