Overdrive light

Tonight I noticed for the first time that during startup the light blinked a few times. Normally it just comes on for a second and then shuts off. This time it blinked for 3 seconds or so and then shut off. Any cause for concern? Probably not right?

That happened to me to today. It was the first time that it had done that. But it snowed about 6 inches over here so sometimes my rpm would get high when i slid.Is it a problem?

yes mine does that too... when ever you overrev your engine because of ice the ECU goes into like a safe mode so you wont over rev and blow your trans, the only way to know is when your car wont WOT, otherwise if you want to kno you would have to wait til the next time you turn your car for the light to blink like you said yours has done. plus you even said there was snow by you.
