How do I replace the PS pump?

Like the title says, I need to know how to replace my power steering pump. I looked in the FSM, but it only shows how to take apart the pump itself; Chilton doesn't show anything; and the link in the stickies doesn't work. Could someone please help? Thanks

Have fun with this one. Its in a really tight spot. I have never looked at replacing one, but I have done the hoses and it was a PITA.

I took mine off when I did a motor swap....its lots of fun , there is one bolt that goes thru the bracket that holds it on, you have to take that out once you have loosened the belt. To loosen the belt you have to loosen the set screw and then turn the bottom adjustment bolt as if you were tightening it (its backwards). Thats how you get it out, its more of a pain that what it sounds.

Again the link does not work, and I'm not a newbie just because of my number of posts. I've been here longer than you have

Hmm, that link worked the other day? It's kind of a pain to do that job, I did it a while ago. Just reacting, seems as almost every other question asked here in 4th gen. can be found in the stickies. And many are just too lazy.

My Haynes Manual says this:

1. Discon. Neg. Bat. cable.
2. Loosen the tensioner; remove drivebelt.
3. Use suction gun to remove PS fluid from
reservoir tank.
4. Remove front right wheel, support car with
jackstands.
5. From underneath, remove pressure line to
banjo bolt, then detatch line from pump.
Remove and discard copper sealing washers.
They must be replaced when installing pump.
Wrap plastic bag around end of hose to
prevent spilling fluid out.
6. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the fluid
return hose from the pump. Plug the hose.
7. Detach right tie-rod end from the steering
knuckle arm and swing the rod to the rear,
out of the way.
8. Remove the pump mounting bolts, then
guide the pump out through the fenderwell.
