intake template

i kno this question has been brought up b4 numerous times, but i cant find it anywhere....does anyone know where i can get a template from so i can cut the hole for the intake to go into??? thank youuu

i used this to help me..and just lined my center drill bit between the hump and the existing hole.

Here's the Place Racing template. Once you line up your tubing you should see if it's the same or not.

after i installed it the CEL came on??? is this supposed to happen or what?

check engine light should not come on..mine didnt...sure u didnt mess up ur MAF sensor

i havent tested it yet....i was seeing if there was a way to test the MAF sensor BESIDES having to scan the ECU.....

alright i'll do that.....its kinda weird though, it came on right after i put the intake on....i dont think autozone is open right now so i'll do it tomorow for sure

hahaha no man its cold as ***** outside right now and im all dressed up to go out so its not really a good time to be getting on my knees and stuff and messing with it right now.....if it was the MAF wouldnt i notice a difference in the car.....because as of now i dont at all

my OEM airbox (where the filter is) had a small sensor in the side of the (IIRC) lower side of the box, and it just slid into place on my CAI pipe where the hoses hook up...sure u got this in?

This thread is pointless at this point since we're all shooting in the dark. Whenver you get a chance to check th codes, or get to AutoZone, then you'll be ain a better position, but right now, this thread wont go anywhere because fact > speculation, and right now that's all we are able to do since you have no codes, nor a means to check them.

that might be it, i know i didnt hook any sensor up from the lower airbox....i dont even think i saw one

Are you refering to the intake temp sensor? It's along the snorkel where it bends 90deg to the driver side?
