Trunk diff.

I was just wandering what the diff. is between the 95-96 and 97-99 trunks are.

The trunks are exactly the same.






























Tail lights are bit different.

The reason I asked is the carbon fiber trunk on ionicdynamics say it only for 97-99

I think it has something to do with the mounting of the lights. Everyone says that if you change the tail lights from 95-96 to 97-99 that you also have to change the trunk lid. I've also heard that the way it lines up with the bumper is a bit different. But someones exact words were, "No one else will notice it, but you probably will." But I was looking at the same cf trunk you are. Can someone clear this up a bit.

i did the 97 trunk conversion.. The only dif is the tail lights. it looks so much beeter with the 97 tails..

the wiring harness for the inner lights are differnt as well. Dont get stuck without inner lights . . .like I was

there is that little roll on the 95-96 that goes all the way across, theres a bit of a bevel around the inner tails and the bumper for 97-99
