Wow that is cheap. For that price, theres no reason to pay double for Illuminas.

Edit: That's gotta be some price mistake or maybe they've been sitting on the shelf for 8 years. I've never seen new AGX's sell for that little

yea I think he just meant illuminas, cause we dont have that much of a variety, and above AGX would be illuminas, above that would be a coilover setup.

Damn good price. especially for new. Thats (I think) cheaper than the GD going on for them

Yeah, it's over $150 cheaper than the GD (258 shipped vs 420). Pretty damn good.

I've been hemming and hawing over finally buying a suspension setup, at that price I may just have to bite on them.

These arent no where as good as illuminas but for the price I might get them since it will be cutting my suspension cost to about half

i just sold my two year old used AGX's for $250, so that's a killer price. I have illuminas now, i can tell you the illuminas are a bit smoother, but for the price difference I would go for AGX.

KYB AGX's have a limited lifetime warranty.

I've had my AGX's for about 60,000 miles, still goin strong.

I think anything else would be better. AGX's do not last long on bumpy roads. I had one blow on me within 2 months and I do mostly highway driving.

To get lifetime replacement, do you have to show a receipt? I do not have one....

And you have to prove you werent any lower than a 1.5" drop. If your on sprints, GC, Intrax, your warentee is vioded.

true, so those who may go with S-tech, springs, GC, intrax, CMS, or the new Ksport GT springs, may not want to purchase these, or be aware that the warantee if void one you have the springs on and are driving around with them.

AGX may not be better than illuminas, but I think they're being portrayed as is if they will blow within the first 1K of riding on them. I feel there good struts, illuminas are better but these arent that much worse than illuminas. They just ride a little harsher in the winter but let the gases in the struts get up in temp, and it will ride fine.

for this price I'd get them.

looks like the price was wrong; it should have been $324 rather than $234. bummer, i probably would have picked them up at that price, too.

well that changes the whole thread. $324 isnt that great of a deal for AGX. Around that price range is what they go for, shipped.

KYB AGX are good struts. They are used and proven widely in the aftermarket car industry. Illuminas are probably 'better' because the warranty is not voided after a drop more than 1.5" and provide a softer ride. For that price i'd get the AGX over Illuminas and never look back.

I just bought some Illuminas for 260 shipped. But they are used.

I need a smooth ride, I am avoiding AGX's.

I've had mine for 40,000 miles now and there still going strong. My friend has Tokico's and they ride like garbage compared to the KYB's imho.

there is no better strut for the money....234 is awsome. They have a life time warrenty but that is only for like a 1.5 drop or something like that. they have a way of telling also if you were dropped good. i tried the warrenty thing and since i was on s-techs they did nothing.

How did they know you were on S-Techs? Did you tell them?
