i think my front ksports r shot.....

i just want to be sure. how can i tell? i hear all kinds of cracking noises when i turn the wheel (specially to the left) when im rolling at 5mph or less and when the car is sittin and i just turn the wheel. when im rolling, i still hear it sometimes. there is also this tickin noise thats always there when i get on the gas at lower speeds. a lot of times when i come to a stop, out of nowhere i also hear this crackin noise which i can feel in the pedal. when i hit big bumps, i also hear this CLUNK noise from the suspension. i hear the same noise when i take sharp turns in the twisties. ride quality seems to be the same. i havent had the time to take things apart and examine them. could it be my axle's or ksport reliabilty has been proven? tires r tucked in upfront and axles barely have 6k on them

im not so sure but I would check for leaks if you think they are blown. How long have you had them on the car for already?

If the ride is the same, the shocks are probably not blown. I have Ksports on my car and in one of them the plastic piece was not in the right position and was making a clanking noise. You should take things apart and check your installation.

Sounds a lot more like the strut tower bearings than blown coilovers...

Have you checked where the top hat nut is? That was a source of noise for my D2's.

i have that same clicking noise......i am going to tighten everything up tomarrow. also is there anyway you can post a pic of inside you wheel when the car is sitting on the ground? mine is just like yours tucking in front on 19's and i have the bottom mounts at the very bottom of the strut, and it slammed my car. my rack and pinion looks like it is being bent or something....

Like I told VIP.......those angles are bad on the rack and pinion and also on the axles. The rack and pinion can handle some flexing but not extreme drops. It won't be long and you will be replacing those things. Rack and pinions are at least $700 plus labor. Labor will be astronomical.

i would check the collars and tighten them. mine came completely looks after like 2 weeks of driving and cause creaking noises at low speeds while turning.
the clunking is somethign to do with a bolt sliding.
check this ksport thread in the general maxima forums it describes nosies like you say.
