My car is in serious need of a drop. Which springs do you recommend, Eibach's or H & R's? I'm planning on pairing them with Tokico Illuminas. I'm mainly getting them for looks.

just from hearsay it seems as though H&R's are very comfortable yet still provde better handling than stock and a slight drop, while Eibachs are a bit more stiff yet handle great and still lower the stance of your car a bit. You'll just have to decide what you would like your daily driving to be like and go from there.

H&R are the softest aftermarket springs, provide good handling. Eibach are best performance springs for handling after coilovers, provide a more harsh ride but still very tolerable. Your choice.

since you are going mainly for looks...get H&R's, it's basically the same drop as Eibachs, but more comfy, especially when matched with the Illuminas you want.

if you're going for looks, get tein s-techs. i've heard for non maxima owners, they can't tell a max w/ eibachs or H&R's is even dropped.

I have eibach springs with illuminas very good ride and handling, but I would like a lower drop like the tein s-tech. I would go with the s-techs.

Wrong! Eibach's are not the same drop as H&R, Eibach's are lower and I know you said "it's basically the same drop" but there is a difference just as you go the next step down from say Eibach's to Tech S-Tein's. So if looks is what your after then choose a spring that goes as low as you would like or better yet coilovers so you can adjust the "look". H&R's are softer ride but generally (there are exceptions) the lower you go the stiffer the ride.

I run Eibachs with Illuminas and love it, and although to some they don't look lowered, when you park beside a stock 4x4 Max it looks slammed! Good luck in your choice all I can says is I'm very happy with mine.

for looks S-techs, or wait to hear the review on KSport GT springs (2.2"F 2"R). Put the illuminas on almost the softest setting and enjoy.

Eibach or Progress is what I would recommend.
