Sloppy steering.

Experiencing sloppy steering.Turning the wheel is extremely easy and concerning. Another example when you make a u-turn and your straigtning out the wheel, ususally you could just let go of the wheel and it will spin back. . . mine remains in that position.

I was thinking maybe low fluid, or bad PS pump, but if this was the case the steering would be much more difficult not easier. Not too sure what the problem can be.

Anyone have this particular problem?

Could it be worn out inner tie rods?
PS belt?

Thanks Good link. My inner boots have a rip in them, so I'll replace the inner tie rods. I already have a control arm for driver side, I'll purchase a passenger side and install.

I might as well do the whole 9 yards while I'm down there, swabar end links etc. . .

if you steering wheels isnot returning to center its either your inner or outer tie rod ends. Boths are fairly inexpensive to replace. I replaced mine and it made a unreal difference.

You know both are in need of changing. When adjusting my coil overs I saw the boots had a tear in it. Dont know how long its been there but and inner and outter replacement is in order.

who has the better price on inner and outter tie rods? The ebay seller (best suspension) or dave B? or wasnt there a 3rd person?

Have the car aligned. Replace any worn components.
