Clutch job conclusion...
...as expected, I'm a moron. It turns out the outer CV joint on my passenger half-shaft separated during the tugging of removal and installation. My clutch was working fine, its just that all of the power was being transferred to the spinning rod, aka my half-shaft. The clue was that the speedo was reading 5-10mph while the car was still. I crawled under and inspected the axles, and found the one twisted freely in my hand.
Unfortunately, I gave up on the 5th gen clutch swap before finding this, and used a local 4th gen pressure plate since I was out of time. If anyone needs a new 5th gen pp 30210-89F00, I'm selling mine here.

Wow, I am glad that you found your problem. I know it must have been nerve wracking having your car like that. Good job on the troubleshooting, and I wouldn't worry too much about the pressure plate being non 5G - having a brand new, OEM clutch will feel great none the less. Again, good work.
yeah, same happened to me right after my swap, my axle wasnt properly seated, so it came out of the differential just enough that it wouldnt move the car, but move the speedo. i was doing 150 standing still, lol....i thought the clutch was toast, but then realized it was the axle....popped it back in, and things have been great ever since.
