noise from front of car ????
ok, anyone who can help me out so i can fix this, please help. when i drive my max, i hear this noise, its only when i turn. its like a spring sound getting compressed. i got new cv boots and axles a few good months ago, can this be something about that or a whole new thing? thanks. again, its when i turn. i want to fix this asap.

aside from turning, do you notice it going over bumps and dips in the road? my upper strut mount was making rubbery/spongy noises as it was wearing out. try this: open the hood, watch the nut on the top of the strut as someone turns the steering wheel. if it moves side to side at all (other than simply rotating) then your upper mount is bad.

^^no, not at all,( but i iwll look into that, thanks) only when i turn, its a crepping sound. njmaxseltd said strut bearings, i just got a new suspension a while back and all new cv boots/axles. anyone else?

yea^^ it dose make the nosie even if lets say im in park. for my suspension setup i have tein coilovers, is the upper strut bearing have something to do with those? or is that close to em. any help would be great. tomorrow is another day...

not sure how coilovers would affect it, but unless they're causing a problem of their own, this is the most likely diagnosis. they wear out, and with a 95 with originals they'd def. need to be replaced.

Had same problem
I took it to the shop, but then it didn't make the sound for them! I replaced the stock struts with Illuminas and replaced the CV joints, and the problem has not returned. And, the car is much more enjoyable, may I add. Can't believe I waited to replace the GXE struts.
