Water Pump?

i turned on my car the other day and i saw coolant leaking, so I jacked the car up and noticed that the leak was coming from the belt area, oil filter area. So, Im assuming that this leak is caused by the water pump. I hope that this assumption is right, and not being the head gasket. The coolant was slowly leaking from the reservoir tank.

How much would a typical water pump job be? Would you guys get an OEM pump or any generic pump?

Thanks for any input.

1. Your sig doesn't work
2. If the price difference is indeed onyl 25 bucks as Mx states, then I would recommend getting an OEM pump
3. Are you sure its the pump? the thermostat, lower radiator hose, reservoir, are all in the same area. There are also coolant lines to the heater core towards the firewall side.

I just had my waterpump replaced. It was 460 P&L. Thermostats and hoses are much cheaper so you might as well replace them first or look harder before you change the water pump.
