stock hood wobble

i thought the oem hood was heavy as *****. while cruising around at 70 mph, i can see the hood trying to lift up from the front. Is there a way to tighten something up there? Is there the possibility an aftermarket 'oe' hood was put on and weighs differently from the factory ones?

raise the rubber stops on both sides of the hood and lower the latch and it should fix it.

Hmm, I've done both of those things and my hood still rattles in cold weather.

Any other suggestions? Does one of the bumpers tend to sag or get tired and need replacing?

Dave - given that the bump-stops are rubber, I can imagine they both harden (in a compressed state) over time. My 96 hood doesn't rattle at all, even on the coldest days (sub-zero farenheit), on highways, bumps, etc. I would definitely check the bump-stops.
