need help deciding on possible springs

well i am having to completely replace all my struts and mounts and might be getting some oem 17 inch rims with tires. i am going to get in on the group purchase for the kyb struts but am only going with the gr-2's. i just wanted some opinions on springs that wont slam my car to the ground but will help get rid of the off road look if i get the rims. since i am doing the suspension work already i figured it to be the best time for springs as well if i go this route. i want something pretty cheap yet reputable and not too stiff or low. thanks in advance.

GR-2s are great for stock springs, but don't lower your car with them. It will ride roughly and die prematurely.

I'm riding on Canuck Motorsports Springs. They're manufactured locally. I switched from Eibachs to these:

well i am definately getting the gr-2's due to price and if the ride height isnt too bad on the 17's i'll just use the stock springs. dont want to ruin a brand new set of struts, but i was just kinda curious about what everyone thought.
