I have the pacesetter. I love the sound, not loud or ricey at all. I have a sound clip in exhaust sticky.

Many have had problems with the catback rusting out. I see no rust as the catback has been on for at least a couple of years. But, this is the first winter/rainy climate its seeing (car is from ca). So we'll have to see how it is in theh spring. You may have to mess with the fitment a little, i have trouble with the bpipe bouncing on the rear control arm.

But for the money, i'd reccomend it. It has a nice sound.

True, the pacesetter exhaust has been well known to rust out and literally fall apart.

for rusting, I also heard that the paint on it can melt and smell like $hit.

Wow guys I cant thank you enough... that link is freakin awesome. I have a 95 they said the megan is made for 97+ but can be made to fit, whats that entail? Anyone know? Also, it seems like itd be pretty easy to just bolt this stuff on.. I have no experience with replacing exhaust components... Is it a DIY or is it worth it to pay and have it done?

So what exactly does it take to put a Megan on a 96? What did you find out, Deal?

Also, is there a good soundclip fo a Megan? Cuz my stock exhaust is really startin to rust out and I don't want to spend a lot. And at just over half the price of a Greddy (best I can find is $500ish shipped), the Megan exhaust seems like a good deal, depending on the sound.

You have to bypass the Cat on the 95-96's to make it work... Kinda sucks. I dont really wanna spend 500+ so Im prob gonna get the pacesetter... I might not even have the car in 25K miles so Im not too worried about it rusting out.

...or save a few bucks and don't even bother with the mandrels. they really don't make a huge difference. as you can tell, a larger diameter mandrel-bent catback only yields 5 or so HP. so as long as you go larger, but with pressure bends, you will probably still get 3-4 HP for a much more reasonable price.
