there is BG44K that u just add to tank of gas, and there is this product u use with special tool, however a guy said that u don't necessarily need the tools and can do this procedure:

The BG Air induction service is different from the BG fuel injector cleaning.

I don't think you can do either yourself - BG has special equipment that shops have to do these services. Go to the BG website and you can find local stores that offer the services.

 

i work for a VW dealership and the way we do fuel injection is. There is a bottle that we fill with the cleaning solution. Either 100% pure solution or a mix of 50/50 solution and fuel. Then we remove a fuel line (inlet) connect that to the bottle and have a outlet line connected to where the fuel line was suppose to connect to, hook it up to shop air and set the pressure setting pending to vechiles. and start up the the car. This way it slowly mixes everything in and you get a really good clean. I'm thinking its about the same as running the stuff you want in the tank x10. Its not shop specfic but it will cost you a load of money for just a fuel injector clean. Your better off paying dealerships to run it for $80 or so. Or just buying those cans of add to the tank stuff. Its the same stuff really. Just the bottle air induction service is more concentrated, and you get instant results.

Chevron with Techron and Gumout are cheap yet good cleaners.

 

Really well ,where i'm from we have a lot of little shops that do it for $80-90. I know i've seen a place advertise it for $89.99 and i went in there to ask for directions and saw the BG service being performed. And i know my local pep boys in chicago does something really close if not the BG service for i think $85.

But thats chicago prices, where labor rates are roughly $100/hour at dealers and $65/at smaller shops.

 

Yes i have the product, and you pretty much use it in the same way as Seafoam. This is how BG used to do it back in the day before they had the "specialized" tools. Just unhook a vacuum line close to the IM and just suck it up bit by bit.
