I wasn't being sarcastic, I was agreeing that I got owned, plus I know it was a joke, didn't take it the wrong way at all...

problem fellas, I just got my strut bar in the mail, but when I went to install it, the bolts won't budge I guess all that grime and oil build up solidified so its pretty much glued in, any ideas as to how I can loosen them besides brute force? cause then I would have lost bout $20 buying it and not being able to install

don't think I have the money for an impact wrench... does the rust free spray take out grime and oil? cause technically the bolts aren't rusted

It should help. If not get a breaker bar if you got one. Or a big ratchet.

Or be sure to eat your wheaties in the morning then give it a try

My torque wrench comes in very handy for these situations . It's pretty long so it gives me all the leverage I need. If you do not already have one, it is a great tool to have.

: Using your torque wrench to loosen stubborn bolts/nuts is a BAD idea. You're basically ruining the calibration of the tool and basically may as well throw it out.

Liquid Wrench is your friend.

Drop/spray a liberal amount on there and wait an hour. Repeat that process three or four times. Then try it. If it doesn't work, douse it again, go to sleep, and try it again the next day.
