This is long:
A while ago, i went to a San Gabriel CA chinese shopping center, and those who have been there know how crowded parking is there. It was the center next to Focus and 99 Ranch Market for those who have been there. When I was backing up my 99 se max to leave, I hit a 3-4 ft high stucco medium; a wall that extended from the building. I was going prob 5-8 mph!! It left some imprints on the right side of the rear bumper, but no obviously apparent structural damage to the rest of the car....but recently, I noticed that the gap between the car doors and the body (roof) on the right side of my car is wider than on the left side when closed! Also, I get the feeling that the right strut tower is not aligned with the left due to a strangely fitting FTSB(I have to force it to fit by pulling it forward)!! I feel so stupid for not being careful backing up! I havent noticed any leaks YET but I cant stand knowing that my max is bent outa shape! Could it be because of that bump I had with the wall or is it just a result of my enthusiastic driving behavior or a manufacturer defect? If so, is there anything affordable that can be done to "bend" my max back to new?!!

Good bodyshops have high-precision body measurement systems. For the cost of one hour labor they can measure your car and tell you how much out of spec it is, and what it will cost to pull it back into spec.
