96 GLE Headlights

What are they made of... plastic or glass?

Glass lights from 95-96, 97-99 have the clear plastic lens.

yep if you need new ones look on ebay the 95-96 are like 30$ a piece

Glass is better it is more durable and it does not turn yellowish like plastic.

i was wondering i saw a neat like diy on cleaning head lights for plastic.. but none for glass... my head lights are 96 gle and look unclear...

know of anything I could do?

I think some fine-cut car polish is supposed to work wonders on even the glass ones... my nighttime visibility is so poor right now - I need to buy some and try it...

k ill pop down to autozone see what they have... any thing else..

i see on hte plastic ones they wet sand... that work for glass?
