i think our stock intenna's look a little out of place on our cars when extended. i was wondering about modding another antenna onto my car... something that goes on the roof perhaps, like jetta's or the new bmw's.

i assume the wire is right in the trunk area behind the rug padding...could i just clip it and run it someplace else?

Just in case you start searching the web for a replacement, you want an "antenna"...

It can be done - just have to get creative.

maybe you could run it out of the trunk under the weatherstripping and to the roof? it has been done.

The S2000 antenna is nice and stout and is a favorite among DC2 tegs, I would be interested to see what it'd look like on a Max. It would probably require a bit of work though, and they aren't retractable. Besides that, you could always just disconnect the antenna motor... I don't think it really looks bad though.
