car stalling

Hey, yesterday my car started stalling everytime i put it into drive. After about five times of trying to get it to go it worked. Then today it did it again, and everytime it shifts from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th, it revs 500rpm higher than where the needle is and then shifts. I replaced my cold air intake with my stock airbox, then this started happening. I'm thinking that I might have messed up my MAF in the process of switching the intake system. Any help would be appreciated.

BTW, I used my obd II scanner and it says there are no codes.

Thanks,

Sean Carter

It does sound like the MAF. Disconnect the MAF connector and see if the problem is still the same. This thing about revving up by 500 when changing and then dropping back . . . sounds like an intermittent connection; when you change, the motor rocks on the mounts: if the rocking motion is pulling on the MAF connector via the harness, that would explain it.
