Siphon Gas

Can you siphon gas out of the 4th gen max or does it have something that would prevent you from being able to? My car has been sitting for over 2 months and I've got a full tank of 93 in it.

Try it and find out. I dont think there is anything stopping you. Have you tried to start it first?

I think most new cars have something inside the fill hose to prevent fuel from being syphon'd from the tank, but i'm not 100%

Have you tried to start it? what makes you think that 2month old gas is a problem?

I've tried it and couldn't get the hose into the tank. I think something was blocking it.

If you try this, remember to eat the mint AFTER siphoning the gas.

its not milk

Depends on its exposure mainly moisture (ie high humidity) but 2 weeks still is not a big deal, i can sometimes stretch a full tank 3 weeks if i try real hard. If youre still worried use a fuel stabilizer/treatment.

Maybe if it was like 5 or 6 months then i would worry. Just use what you have in there and throw in a bottle of Chevron Techron Fuel Sys Cleaner with a tank of premium on your next fill up.
