Shouldn't be any trickier than any other harness connector

I remember that thread You can't get too far without disconnecting the harness - so give it a try.

Its not bad at all I replaced my starter a few weeks ago there is a connecter underneath the harness held onto a metal holder. just slide it off the metal holder to remove the harness easier.

No secrets here. My starter was making the infamous grinding noise just after starting. Took starter out. tore it apart. cleaned all old grease out and regrease. installed it and no more noise. Only took 2.5 beers to complete. The guys who buy a new starter when this noise is presents should reconsider attempting to grease it first. I did mine immediately after it started making that noise. So maybe i lucked out. Don't know if this would work after several months. Just don't overgrease it.
