Inake Question For 95-96 Max's
Recently I brought and air intake off of ebay and I was wondering for those that have a 95 or 96 max, where did you put your air temp sensor or what did you do with it? Also where did your absolute air sensor, MAP sensor?
So if anyone can help me out I'll apprciate it cause I'm getting codes for them now.
Thanx

Wow ... good game. You should have a hole in the first piece of your intake for your IAT. Your MAF should have remained the same and stayed between the resonator and the pipe that goes to the filter.

If you ziptie it then the computer is reading warmer temps.

that air temp. sensor is only used for some diagnostics, so zip tie it, leave it hanging, it doesnt matter because it doesnt affect your engine's operation in any way. mine is just sitting my the shock tower.

I used to it in the filter so it would be directly in line with the intake air,(center of MAF) butt dyno said
I have it shoved in one of the filter grooves right now actually.
When I had it hanging, it would enarly die upon low speeds less than 10 MPH.

so it wont effect anything as long as you use the same gauge wire and solder it properly.

i'll have to figure something out, but seems like the options are limited.
