Nonlocking To Locking?

Nonlocking To Locking?

is it hard to make ur nonlocking car to a locking car? also what years could fint ina 5spd to do it

Just have to buy a locking differential and a drive side axle with locking

96-99 5 Speed Infiniti I30t's had a LSD. Also, Canadian spec 5 speed Maximas had the locking 5 Speed. 2001 Anniversary Edition Maximas also had a locking 5 Speed.
When looking to change to a LSD tranny, you would need to get a new, LSD driverside axle. A tranny should run you at least $500-600 or so (including shipping, in some cases), plus the cost of an axle. AE trannies are pretty hard to find, and you have to watch out for the differential bearing failure on (early..I believe) I30t's.

so i could jsut buy the tranny and the axles and im good to go? i have a locking tranny?

If you get a LSD tranny, and the axles to go along with it, then yes, you have a locking tranny.
