Brake Light stuck on.......

I got a slight problem with my brake light being stuck on. I drove about 40 miles today with it on.

Ive examined the following places and tested.

The E-brake it self been pulled up and down. Nothing.

Checked behind tires when someone was releasing it and pulling up. It isnt getting stuck.

I even checked the button that makes the light come on when the brake is pulled up and it doesnt go off being pushed in or out.

If anyone has a clue please let me know.

Well I looked at my brake fluid and it was right above min but then I see this little round fluid holder on the right back of the firewall (looking at engine) and it was a bit under min and I have no idea what it is but it says use brake fluid so anyone wanna clue me in on what it is?

Well filled both up and it went off. Thanks to you guys. Yay!!

Great that you topped off the fluid - but as JSutter said - low fluid indicates that your pads are wearing (or there's a leak - which is less likely) - double check them too - you may need to replace them soon.

This Brake bulb is connected to:
1. The hand brake switch thru a diode
2. The Brake Fluid level switch
3. The alternator output

It is unlikely item 3 is at fault. Pull the connector on #1 and #2 to see which switch is at fault. The circuit diagram is on page 87 (approximately) in the EL section.
