Suspension problems? Not sure

The other day a few weeks ago, the Santa Ana winds had it's time of the month in my county and blew like crazy for a few days (if you live in SoCal, you know what I'm talking about), and I noticed that my car shook very violently even when the wind wasn't blowing -that- hard. Personally, I think that it has to do with the space between the wheel and the well, because cars next to me which were lowered (sedans) weren't shaking nearly as bad as my car was.

Anyways, ever since then I can feel a terrible handling at higher speeds. Probably just me, since I'm actually paying attention to it now since that day, but I'm not sure. I've heard that stock handling on the Maxima was terrible, but I didn't feel it all that much before. If it's just me, then can anyone recommend some relatively cheap aftermarket parts to replace my stock suspension setup to help eliminate the problem? I plan on selling the car when I graduate college though, so I don't feel like putting three thousand dollars into a killer suspension rig

Thanks.

Yeah, I was thinking wheel balance might be a factor. Thanks.

Any other opinions?

your struts/shock maybe blown.

But if the wind is strong enough you car will still move from the wind. If you know your selling the car then there isnt a need to really replace the struts if they are in good shape and its just strong wind. If you want firmer handling and a little bit of a drop, but still some comfort go with H&R springs, illuminas are great struts to match them with. Or you could just get the tokio springs and strut kit. its about $550 shipped for the tokio blues and their springs. Its pretty much a strong replacment.
