Lately my max has this awful thumping or droning-like sound during freeway speeds. Its awful enough that the noise sounds like an old hoopty w/o its muffler. Sounds like its coming from the rear. Any ideas. I have 135,600 miles and if its the suspension or some other noise, everything is original.

 

possible wheel bearing??

 

check ur CVs.....does it do it when turn as well...wheel bearings are more of a humming sounds but u never know
