what green and blows white smoke? weed or max
got a issue with the max, i changed my spark plugs on saturday and since then the max has been sending out white smoke (smells like gas) from the exhaust. this morning the max did not start, the starter turns and engine turns (it acts like its going to start) but it doesn't.
yesterday it did the same thing but after i insisted on the gas pedal, the car started.
any idea on whats going on.

Also.. How did you get the plugs down into the shaft to start threading them? If you just let the drop...then you have cracked the porcelain.
If you are using Bosch....then...uh...I hope you kept the receipt.

NGK or Denso...The ONLY Choices that you have for plugs!
What I suspect...Your plug may have dropped while you were inserting it.
My Spark Plug Socket has a Rubber washer in it...but it's as effective as it valuable. I use a section of garden hose to make sure that I do not damage my plugs.
One other question was...What ECU codes are you getting?
I would start with pulling the plugs...inspect them...
Second...you might even want to put the old plugs in...just to see...
As far as torque, a 1/4 turn after it becomes snug should be enough to set them right. (Unless someone knows different...)
