paint inside, i would assume? do you have yellow bulbs also? how's the light output? looks good, though, and less hassle than capsules, i bet! nice

I'll check the brand of the paint,

86 if you've ever tried to take these fogs apart you'd know that it is done from the outside rather than the inside. I have a bunch of coats of the yellow then a few of clearcoat. Output is fine.

Thanks linkage.

Yes they are nearly impossible to open without cutting. The outside is painted .

Well my fogs are on all the time when I'm driving, and I like the bold look I get from my fogs when my car is parked. So it works for me. So far I've gotten alot of comments from people who have max's and are just driving by my house or see me out somewhere like a mall etc.

Did you have to re-do because the other coat(s) wore off?

Yup I agree the stock fogs suck lol

Yes I had to re-do the lights because the old paint did not hold up. I also did not clear coat the last time.

Interesting approach. The yellow color/output is defiantely better than those yellow halogen H3 bulbs but I don't think they are as good as yellow capsules. It sucks that you had to repaint them but hopefully with the addition of the clear coat it will last for a long time. Congrats to you on a job well done.
