I Have a 95 SE. The leather on my steering wheel is shot. Has anyone ever put a different OEM steering wheel on 95/96 model. Like a 97-99 or 2k+. I looked in the stickys and did a search. Couldn't find anything. Does anyone know if this can be done or should I just buy another 95/96 type wheel?

yeah, 97-99s have been done, as well as altima wheels (there was one for sale not too long ago.

 

I was told the mounting for all the nissan steering wheels is the same so you should be able to use any nissan wheel

 

Don't forget about the airbag!

 

yeah..i have this fear of plugging up something in the steering column and then BAM airbag to the throat

 

or not going off at all. ever.

 

yeah its illegal not to have an airbag in a car that comes with one. if it goes off you have to replace immediatly.

 

I plan on keeping an airbag that's why I wanted to know what OEM steering wheels will fit on my 95. Thanks guys
