Sound Coming From Front End Underside Of I30

What's up guys, I have a 97' I30.. All of last night and this morning I've been hearing some sort of metal part or brace? "shaking" back and forth. You guys ever seen those trucks or vans that have a wheel holder. The ones that the holders are chained onto the underside of the rear. Well it sounds like one of those are shaking/moving back and forth when I run over a speed hump/bump and when I jerk the wheel left and right hard.

Could it be my suspension?... I need to replace all 4 shocks, but I need to know if its my suspension or not. I want to resolve almost if not everything in one shot.

Has anyone with an I30 around my year have or had this problem?

maybe its the part of the exhaust system swinging side to side and bumping your undercarriage. My 96 max does that few times from the cat (i think) hitting the underbody.

yup mine does the same thing. The bracket broke off the hanger from the exhaust on the back side, n after i put on the y-pipe, the cat doesn't really hand as high as it used to. I dunno, but its def the same noise n i know that its def my exhaust swaying back n forth. lemme as you this, you can only hear it when u open the window correct??? if thats true, most likely ur exhaust n is really no biggy...well...till ur exhaust falls off that is..

Any guess is just going to be that, a guess. You need to put your car in the air and take a look. A random noise, clunk, vibration, etc could be many multiple things.

Hm... I guess that would only be my solution, have to take a look underneath it.
