power seat bad

power seat bad

the seat doesnt move up or down when using the switch in red. Does anyknow if i could fix by replacing a motor, fuse, etc OR am i gonna have to get a new seat from another max?

check the fuses, if no, take a seat apart.

If the seat moves in all other directions, then it's not a fuse.

It could be something is obstructing that particular track or a bad motor, connection, etc.

do you hear the motor running when you try to move the switch? i had that problem on my max. i took the seat out. theres a rod that rotates and pushes up on the pan under the seat. the pan cracked where the rod attatches to it so the rod would just move through the pan, so it wouldnt move the seat. what i did was weld the pan wehre it was cracked and now it works fine

no i dont hear any motor running when that switch is pressed. THe other motor+switchs works just fine.

Either its a broken motor or a lose connector. I hope its the second ...
