I like both but if its a choice between tranny then i will take a stick. They are a lot more fun plus there is a lot more control on the car especially when launching and breaking, i had a 3rd gen VE auto and it has potential but the VQ 5spd i just got for now takes the trophy.

Why choose? I chose the 5.5 gen brain with the 4th gen body. Best of both worlds.

But IMO every 1989-2003 model has the potential to look, handle and perform great if done right.

4th Gen 5 spd if it was vs. the 5th gen auto of 00-01. I'd probably take the later 5th gen auto if it was with the 3.5 tho. Extra 65 hp over 4th gen ftw.

I like how the 5th gen dash looks a lot but the 4th gen makes a lot of sense and it's easy to find everything. I drove my Dad's Accord last night and I couldn't figure out the stereo or the climate control while I was driving because there were so many buttons and modes. Sure it looks nice but it's confusing and distracting!

I've had two 4th gens (99s); and test drove a fifth gen (2000) brand new. I still remember how shocked I was at the cheaper interior of the 2000, like if I grabbed something too hard, it would break off.

I reserve judgment on the 5.5 gen 6sp, for performance it seems like the winner. For style, inside and out, 4th gen with no amber and the suspension drop is unbeatable.

that's where you're wrong, my friend.

It was never mass-produced by Nissan, but it was MADE.

I like how the 4 gen looks, but i like the headlights they have on the 03, and the hood but overall the 4 generations look better than the 5th, although they do look nice with body kits too. I do wish the 4 gen was a little faster.

4th gen 5spd but I Love the 5th gen head lights. That is about it. I got nothing more to say about it. I do own a 4th gen but I like all nissan cars.
