Are these foglamps any good?

For that price you might as well get some CE projector fogs...

Ordered a pair awhile ago, should be getting it within the next few days. We'll see.

well i want the yellow fogs. i was gonna buy another set of stock fogs for my '96 and do the HID thing, but i wanted to save some money... i'd go with like 3200k or something like that, because IMO yellow looks sick AND it's functional! amazing! (the color temp cuts thru fog & snow better than higher color temps... HID's are actually really, really crappy in fog/snow, just reflects it back into your eyes... i don't get why ppl do like 6000k headlights & 8000k fogs! crazy!)

Darklegend posted some output pics for the CE projector fogs here (he swapped to yellow bulbs) http://forums.maxima.org/showpost.ph...0&postcount=23
Also keep in mind that the guy has them advertised as "fog driving lights." Fog lights project a wide, short range beam. Driving lights project a narrow, long range beam. The classifications of fog lights and driving lights are mutually exclusive. If these are in fact driving lights, then you will have to aim them way down if you don't want to blind other drivers, and you'll wind up with two useless bright narrow spots of light in front of your car.
If you look on the box, they have both "driving lamp" and "spot lamp" descriptions on there, where their definition of "spot lamp" is basically a fog lamp. They cannot be both at the same time, I would ask which one they are before considering buying them.
