I wouldn't count on that happening too soon since probably only 20 people have them at the most and most people are not going to sell them unless they part out. It is not like they are that expensive.

You pay Jclaw and the money gets transferred from your bank to his paypal account. You dont need to actually have money in the paypal account, just in your bank. It will take about 3 days to clear, though. Have Fun.

(Again added to original post)
DISCLAIMER:

I just want to make sure that everyone is fully aware that I need to order the rod ends first, and it takes 1-2 weeks to get to me, then I can ship it to you. I will keep you guys updated through the process though, and provide tracking numbers if requested.

I assumed the time was right for a group deal since we're in February and most people don't race or drive aggressively until springtime so the downtime wouldn't be that big of an issue.

Also: Please include your .Org username in your Paypal message, so I can keep track of who's who. Last time it got more than slightly confusing.

To keep track of everything, payments I have received so far:
1) Mymax97
2) NCSU_MAX
3) Dr-Max
4) VQuick (PAID)
5) juani
6) BlackMaxGTR
7) Mr. Duck
8) 95maxrider
9) Drstove
10) Glenmoormax (PAID)
11) Type3max (PAID)

I note that on another site, I can't recall the link, it states that the rear 4-link axle has an integral sway bar that works perfectly well if the stock (crap) bushings are replaced with polyurethane specials, and there's even sources listed for buying these, much cheaper option than a separate RSB. Unfortunatley this I think only works on the (97???) and later because of the suspension design. BUT the damn site didn't explain why the same method can't be used on the 96 rear.... really annoying! Does anyone have any answers?

Rear suspension?

Anything short of a 100% solid bearing/bushing in all your control arm chassis links wouldn't do as good of a job as a solid bar on both sides. And even in that case you would still have (slight) control arm flex because the maxima LCA isn't exactly the strongest structure known to man. But polyurethane bushings are certainly better than mushy soft stock rubber.

How many payments do you need before you can buy all the parts for a dozen traction bars, or are you planning on waiting for a dozen payments?

I've contacted the seller of the rod ends to confirm that they are NF (Fine thread) to match with the machined tubes. When he confirms I will order the 48 bearings and put the machined 26" tubes into production. I also sent PMs to the other members in the GD that I haven't received payment from (although the 12 sets will go into production regardless).

I havent been outside today but im guessing its in the 40s. But the past 2 weeks i think ive gone through every season. What did you say your best 60ft was 1.6 with slicks?

My best 60' is 1.759. I do hope to break a 1.6 this year. On 24.5 slicks instead of 23's.

The maxima record is held by MardiGrasMax. He pulled a best of 1.71 on his 11.56 run. He was using M&H 24.5X8.5 slicks.

UPDATE: Mr. Duck decided not to keep his position in the Group Deal so there is still one spot available at 169.00$ shipped. Whoever gets it first.

Not mine, unless he built a custom set, but I don't think so. He has more than enough power to pull low 60's (spraying out of the hole).
